All our timber is either milled or used for logs, our woodchip is used either for biomass power plants or as cattle bedding. We can sell woodchip in bulk for use as a mulch, if required. We also carry out environmental work such as natural habitat creation and the installation of a variety of artificial habitats for invertebrates as well as mammals and birds. Natural habitat creation involves the use of existing natural structures such as standing dead timber, as well as new planting, to increase the available food and shelter for wildlife. Techniques such as Coronet pruning and Bore cutting bird and bat shelters can transform dead or diseased trees into excellent wildlife holding sites - these techniques can also be used to prolong the life of diseased trees which may otherwise have to be removed. We can also supply and install a wide variety of bird, bat and insect shelters and nest boxes, including those for birds of prey, boxes for raptors such as sparrow hawks and kestrels as well as owls can be made to measure for particular situations. Please contact us for prices for owl boxes and other nest boxes.
